Elegantly Hand Engraved Smith & Wesson 686. This model features a Stainless Steel Finish. This Customer is the son of a retired peace officer in New York. his Great Great Great... Grandfather was a rifle maker in the colonial United States. and many features of this gun including the two doves on the cylinder, the heart motif on the barrel lug, and the borders were inspired by one of his rifles. The badge sports the retired officer's badge number, and the word excelsior in 0.75mm microletters.
Elegantly Hand Engraved Ruger SP 101. This model features a Brush Stainless Finish. This Customer is a female peace officer in a small town in Texas. She had a tight budget, but wanted the gun to be classy with a twist. Therefore, she asked for classy scrolls, and a pineapple to be put on the side. The reason for the pineapple is due to her being an avid fan of the television show Pysch, in which there is a pineapple hidden in every episode.

This is a hand engraved Taylor & Company Runnin' Iron, made by Uberti, in stainless steel. The customer wanted to create a pistol for his daughter who was graduating from Sam Houston State University with a Masters in Education. The backstrap has the Sam Houston logo in relief and her name in script letters. The rest of the firearm is done in a classic Colt pattern with a dot punch background. This is a bright stainless hand engraved Colt Anaconda with an 8" barrel. There is a green anaconda draped back and forth across the top of the barrel through the vent holes. The head of the snake is playfully looking at the banner on the left side of the barrel. The snake goes through the cylinder on the left side of the frame and then wraps around the rampant colt. This is a pair of hand engraved Colt revolvers: a Colt Python and a Colt Anaconda. These were engraved at the same time and not intented to be a pair, but the Colberts sold both of them to the same customer the day I returned them. They both are sporting snakeskin backgrounds. The Python has an American Scroll running leaf pattern running down the frame. It also has a western style fan/sunburst and scroll on the cylinder. The Anaconda features black leaf components magnified to a central feature size. Both of the firearms are stainless steel and have a moderately bright polish. The pistol pictured above is a hand engraved Cimarron Model P Single Action Army, made by Uberti, in 45 Long Colt. It has been engraved in a deep relief American scroll. The firearm has been finished in a French Gray with black highlights. This firearm was commissioned by the recipient’s father as a gift on his last assignment with the Navy. The backstrap has the officer's last name. The shield at the top of the backstrap has the command master chief insignia. The bottom of the grip has COB for Chief of Boat. The cylinder has simple scrollwork and the names of the six ships on which the officer served. The left side of the barrel has deep relief scrollwork radiating out from the dolphin and submarine logo of submarine command. The right side of the barrel has his current rank - Command Master Chief. The photos of this firearm do not do the piece justice; it was a beautiful piece

The funds went to CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocates of Bastrop, TX. This organization trains and supports volunteers to represent the best interests of abused and neglected children in the courtroom and other settings. This pistol is now in the B. Hoffman collection.

One of Gerry's favorite Cowboy Action Shooting pistols. This firearm is an inexpensive, yet quality, firearm. It performs well in this high use sport. This pair of 45 Long Colt Pistols were special ordered for a customer in Cotulla, TX. It is a brace (pair) of consecutively numbered pistols hand engraved in a classic colt factory style with American scrolls, flowers, stars and running leaf patterns. This set is sold, but for $2000 you can have your own set.
