The customer originally wanted the Texas A&M logo engraved into both sides of the frame. After seeing the raised relief letters in the backstrap, he changed his mind. But wait! Through the use of the magic of laser welding, the stainless steel was placed back into the pistol. The frame was then repolished.
The left side was then relief engraved with the logo.
The right side was then relief engraved with the gig'em thumb.
